dont buy this product
we use a lot of thes where I work we probably have at least a 100 of them.
The main problems are:
1. ~Unlike the old scanner the cable strain relief bar snaps and the cable falls out of the end of the scanner.
2. Our staff can drop these scanners often this jams the trigger so that the trigger part is stuck inside the scanner and cannot be removed without stripping the whole scanner down to the last nut and bolt.
3. In order to strip down scanner micro torx screwdrivers are required and the job requires a specialist technician.
4. Some of the scanners will light up when in a DOS mode but when boot up into windows occurs they just flash light christmas lights and dont scan.
You are utterly wasting your money buying these. We keep telling our managers that they are useless and they keep telling us that they are cheap. For us technicians it is a no win situation. Please buy a decent scanner. Please do not buy the heron this type of scanner
