Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dell E-Port Plus Port ReplicatorThe port replicator is a solid product. Only complaint is that why would Dell only have a 10Mb Ethernet connection in this day and age.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super easy to use and dependableI actually like these more than the USB type docks. Easy to use, never fails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old design, makes Latittude E-series hang off endOld design. Connection causes users to awkwardly attach laptop to dock. Which causes breakage of the pins on the laptop, resulting in mboard replacement.Laptop hangs off the end because of newer design Latitudes. This is the same design from 5 years ago. Takes up too much space on a desk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shame these are being phased outIt's a shame that Dell is phasing out the E-Port on their Latitude business laptops. It was everything that made them great. Now we will be stuck with (flaky) USB 3 docks, cables strewn everywhere, and (at least on the early ones) lackluster compatibility. I know everything needs to be faster and lighter, but I thought this was the perfect combination. Cables could be routed out of the way (or hidden). Solid, satisfying snap to docking a system. And the systems were Very lightweight and portable. Starting with the new Latitude E7280, there is no longer a docking port on the bottom of the system. Oh well, such is progress
