A well-designed versatile device
As the IT Director of a organization of 80 people, I chose this device for our laptop fleet because of its versatility, light weight, long battery life, and the quality of design and manufacturing. We lack the internal resources to support a constellation of devices. The ability of the X-1 Carbon to transform from a traditional laptop to a tablet and back means I can use a single device to support multiple use cases.
I lack data to judge reliability of the latest model, though I have no reason to doubt this device will enjoy a long and productive life at my organization.
