Rated 5 out of 5 bymarthamalloy from Surprised at the quality of plastic for the priceI purchased a Lifeproof case for my mother for Christmas and I was surprised at the flimsiness of the plastic in comparison to my experience with Otterbox products. This case cost me $130 CAD with taxes + shipping. Also, the plastic that covers the home button on the iPhone feels cheap. It makes a small but noticeable crackle noise every time you press it. An overall disappointment for the price tag.

The only fault is I can't plug my headphones into my iPhone. This stinks!!!! What's the point of having all the protection if the case limits my access to the functionality of my device?

Unfortunately, the warranted is only for a year and only covers water damage. I did contact them within the year about my charger cover falling off but was told it wasn't covered. My screen cover also warped right after the warranty expired. : (The reason I ordered another one was because the price came down and I love the fact that this case is so thin. Most other cases bulk up the size of the phone and this one doesn't. The sound quality is good. I am hoping that maybe the issue with the 1st case I ordered was a fluke and this one will last longer.

I had a very hard time getting the toucH id to work At first but After Alot of Use and practice it works for me about 90% of the time. The other 10% is if its in your pocket too long or in the sun, the plastic on the Id button kind of stretches and SEPARATES from the button area. As far as design its good but not great. There are a few IMPERFECTIONS. Over all i would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this case. I drop and take my phone in the water all the time. Also they offer a water protection program for $10. Cant beat that. 0-10 i give it a strong 8. Good job lifeproof.

Rated 5 out of 5 byL from Functional with some quirksFor the most part, I love the case. I'm excited for the color choices, though it would be great to be able to personalize. The case itself seems very durable and should last. The front part of the case seems as if it will wear much faster than the back as I can already see some wear after a few weeks (and I keep mine in my pocketbook or somewhere safe at all times). My biggest gripe is with the sound; it is the oddest thing--it vibrates the back of the phone and the sound even seems to get caught in "pockets" in the phone. With that said, I will most likely purchase another Lifeproof for my next case. Protection is definitely worth sacrificing a little sound quality, especially living at the beach with all the sand and water.

I think everyone should have one of these, unless you like cracked screens and water damage. Let's face it, the iPhone is awesome but it is not very rugged. The iPhone needs this case.

They have done great with protection- I've dropped it many times and have taken it in the pool- and my phone is perfectly fine. However, the plastic film covering the camera lens makes my photos really blurry. I've tried cleaning both the film and the lens and it hasn't fixed the problem.
