The UK power supply has removable prongs so that the power supply can be switched to other outlet standards. All I wanted were the US prongs, but that wasn't available, so I had to buy the entire power supply. Price wise, that wasn't a big deal, but for storage and travel I would rather have removable US prongs to save space.

It looks sturdier so I'm hoping this will hold up longer than our original. It's great to be up and running and mobile again!
