Designed for multiple user environments, the ZUM DECT 6.0 Headset allows wireless telephone conversations without the limitations of Bluetooth. Unlike Bluetooth, the ZUM DECT 6.0 Headset operates on the secure DECT 6.0 Protocol. The range is up to 500 feet, as opposed to Bluetooth 's 30 feet. The number of users is practically unlimited, compared with the 55 user maximum limit of Bluetooth. But anyone can benefit from the comfortable headset with noise cancellation and the ability to be able to walk away from the phone while continuing the conversation. The Base Unit recharges the headset and will work up to 7 hours on one charge. There is a Remote Handset Lifter RHL-2010 (sold separately) available which allows you answer and hang up even if you're not near the phone.
