Be aware that use of this enclosure with USB 2.0 *may* require use of a Y cable such as StarTech USB2HAUBY1 (CDW 2381205) and two USB ports to supply sufficient power to the optical device.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJonas B from Easy to assemble, works like a charmDoes a great job doing what it's supposed to do. Yet on my Win10 laptop I had to enter regedit and remover an upper key file for it to stop mounting and dismounting spontaneously. MS homepage provided me with a guide for this.
