Decent barcode scanner
I always opt to buy the Symbol 2D barcode scanners and have a total of 8 of them being used and have had very good luck with them. My only issue would be the newer scanners like this one for example, don't have the cross haired scan trigger red light anymore but it is a red dot instead. It seems that the red dot way doesn't scan the super small barcodes like the cross haired trigger ones do. The cross haired scan is much more reliable and scans easier/faster than the dot ones. Other than that, I have no complaints as I haven't had any die on me like I had with other brands and considering the shop floor personnel drop these 2D barcode scanners from time to time, they still hold up great. It is also very easy to customize the scan and there is tons of information available from CDW's website as well as the manufacturer's website that you can look up for advanced functionality. I would recommend this product for anyone needing a reliable, durable, 2D barcode scanner.
