I researched and found this product which arrived quicker than expected and plugged it in and the driver was automatically downloaded from Microsoft Update and the 3rd monitor instantly began to function as expected.

Bought a new MacBook Air and had to wipe 10.10 off and re-install 10.9. Then had to update my old apps with hard to find previous to 10.10 versions. So if this won't be a problem for you or if Tripp upgrades to support OS 10.10 you'd be happy with the U244-001-R

The old driver does not work well. Ghost images do appear besides the original application window. It is very visible with Microsoft OCS application for OS X
