VMware vCenter Protect Update Catalog maximizes an organization's investment in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) by reducing risks from unpatched third-party applications. VMware patch experts keep organizations secure while putting time back in a system administrator's day. Data from System Center Updates Publisher (SCUP) is imported and synced to keep systems updated using an existing SCCM workflow; there is no application to install or agent to deploy.

vCenter Protect Update Catalog, designed for both upper mid-market and enterprise needs, facilitates central deployment of non-Microsoft, third-party software patches and updates in a Microsoft Windows environment. With a simple VMware data service to the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and System Center Updates Publisher (SCUP) software, vCenter Protect Update Catalog extends Microsoft patch and update management features to hundreds of non-Microsoft applications.

Globally, companies of all sizes distribute software and deploy updates for the latest Microsoft operating systems and applications with SCCM. vCenter Protect Update Catalog applies Microsoft SCCM patch and update management features to hundreds of other mission-critical applications, including Adobe Reader, Java applications, Mozilla Firefox and legacy Microsoft applications that Microsoft no longer supports.

Minimum purchase quantity of 10. Technical support. 7 am to 7 pm Central Time, Mon. thru Fri. For existing Protect customers purchasing additional licenses, upgrading licenses or renewing support, the existing license key must be included on every Purchase Order.
