Rated 5 out of 5 byDSMY from A Great productIt is a bit bulky considering the actual size and shape of the ipad mini, but to get the protection necessary the bulk at this time maybe necessary.I wish it came in more colors, as when I set it down, I want to be able to spot it across the room. I don't take it on road trips so I am not concerned about other people see it and stealing it.I wish the stand was attached to the unit, but it does make it much more bulky, on the other hand I am always walking away from the stand and have to go back for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 bybzslc from RUN OVER BY A CARI was leaving work one day and I had my hands full. I placed my iPad on the top of my car and put the rest of my stuff in the back seat. After making several trips back and forth to load all my stuff in the car, I got in and drove away. I pulled out of the parking lot onto the highway and accelerated to highway speed (about 60 mph). I was looking in the rear view mirror when I saw something fly off the top of my car and hit the highway. I immediately realized what I had done and in a panic pulled over to the side of the highway. I jumped out and thought well I can at least get the pieces out of the road. I ran back all the way to where it had landed, and when I was about 10 feet away a car (4 door sedan some kind) ran it over. I finally got up to it and flipped it over (it landed screen down) and pressed the power button. It came right on and continues to work fine to this day. The hard plastic part of the case is messed up a little bit but all cosmetic damage really. Pretty amazing in my opinion!

I don't buy opened packages in store, why would I want one shipped to me. I could have bought the same thing on Amazon.ca and not only would I have saved fifty dollars with their free shipping and ability to charge in Canadian dollars, but my package would not have contained an open package...BooI wanted to support otter box directly, but I'm rather disappointed...

Went to put this on my son's iPad mini and wasted about five minutes trying to figure out what was meant by the "outer silicone casing" I was supposed to remove. It turns out the one they sent me doesn't have one. Submitted request to customer service and will update this based on their responsiveness

Yet one area that needs to be improved on the Apple Defender iPad Mini 3 Stand is the corner edges since they are not properly grabbing the iPad Mini when placed on its side, thus the iPad Mini falls out of the stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 byRico from This Otterbox Case is Solid (no puns intendedI brought this a few weeks ago and enjoyed it for the most part, the only real issue I had was the flap for the ipad charger is very difficult to get open. But aside from that it's very sturdy, and the hardcase and the rubber case give excellent protection.
