2022 CDW Solutions Year in Review
Here are some of our solutions highlights during the past year from CDW and our partners Dell, HPE and Autodesk.
CDW continued to spend 2022 adding value to our customers as their trusted IT solutions provider, while working in close tandem with our leading partners. Here are a few highlights from the solutions side.
CDW & Dell Technologies
CDW was honoured to be recognized as Dell Technologies Canadian Partner of the Year 2022, as well as winning the Dell Technologies NA Partner of the Year 2022 – Excellence in Expansion and New Business Development award. CDW remains Dell's No. 1 partner globally.
Key Dell Win
In the mining industry, CDW & Dell collaborated to generate an efficient and budget-friendly storage solution that allowed their customer to both streamline and modernize its technology. Dell Technologies Unity XT metro node was recognized as the perfect solution to meet the customer’s continuous operational needs, while minimizing capital costs. Selecting Unity XT ensured they could maintain their zero-downtime targets, while giving them the ability to scale with their future expansion plans.
CDW & HPE
With a partnership spanning over 30 years, CDW remains HPE’s No. 1 global partner and Platinum Solution Provider Partner. In 2021, CDW was awarded HPE’s Canada Partner of the Year.
Key HPE Win
In Montreal, CDW and HPE leveraged the HPE GreenLake On-Prem Cloud platform to help a gaming company improve efficiency, stay ahead of demand and provide predictable monthly fixed costs, while supporting teams in different countries. CDW instilled confidence in the customer with our expert knowledge about the HPE GreenLake platform and framework, plus technical insights that helped CDW seal the deal, worth at least two million dollars.
HPE GreenLake was the winning solution because it provided the flexibility to have a reserved capacity of compute and storage to operate their current workloads efficiently from Day 1. In addition, our HPE GreenLake solution enabled the customer to eliminate day-to-day administrative tasks by taking over the management of their infrastructure up through the server stack. Being a global IT provider allowed CDW to partner with the customer across multiple geographies.
CDW & Autodesk
CDW Canada's Autodesk's business grew due to the customer care we provide our customers, especially with top-selling products such as Maya and AutoCAD.
Key Autodesk Win
CDW and Autodesk helped a customer in the global infrastructure industry move three contracts totalling 64 licences under one project so that project could pay for the licences instead of their head office, which was really causing them a lot of issues. We did all the legwork on cleaning up the customer’s database to meet their needs, were quick to get back to them and took the time to have multiple meetings with each location to make sure they had everything they needed.
