D-Link's Wireless Day and Night Network Camera is a versatile day and night wireless network camera, designed with an aluminum cast for maximum heat dissipation and better protection, ideal for use in small-to-medium business environments.
The camera employs a superior CMOS sensor with low lux sensitivity to deliver a truly superior image quality. Up to 32 cameras can be monitored on a single computer screen with the D-ViewCam software (included with the product).
The DCS-3430 can be placed anywhere on the network either through a wired Ethernet or wireless 802.11 b/g/n connection. It features a built-in microphone and ports for connection to external sensors, speakers or alarms. A BNC connector allows for easy integration into a traditional CCTV system. An RS-485 port is also included to control an external pan/tilt device. A built-in Infrared Cut Removable (ICR) filter in the DCS-3430 allows the camera to capture images in both good light and low light conditions.
The DCS-3430 supports 4 video profiles simultaneously and is capable of recording in MJPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264 compression. With the camera's 3G mobile video support, you can view a live video feed on any compatible 3G mobile phone or PDA anywhere. You can also instantly take snapshots while remotely viewing the video feeds from a Web browser.
Recording can be scheduled or triggered by motion; you can save clips either on a local hard drive or SD card, or directly on to a NAS device without the need for a computer to be on.
