The Avery document camera was purchased as a tool to help me cope with low vision. And it works. Whatever I need to read is put under the camera and magnified on the screen. It is easy to operate and flips from camera to television in one click. I would suggest,as a low-vision option, that the base be offered in white also. Again, for the low vision customer, the buttons on the remote can be larger. Otherwise, the projector is great and easy to use. I recommend it for all low-vision people. As an addendum, someone else set it up for me. I could not read the direcions until the camera was operating.

Form great... function not so much.
Looks nice but the functionality isn't as good as previous models. No S-video out.. fine, but replaced that with a proprietary RS-232 port which is an odd choice. Needs an additional adaptor purchase from AverVision to run it. Does have HDMI outputs but they are on the side the arm swings on so the cables get knocked around and the arm won't lie flat unless you unplug the cables.
