Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does only run at 2666 MHz on Asus TUF Gaming A15 Although it says "100% compatible" it will only run at 2666 MHz. Stock RAM runs at 3200 MHz. Hoping for a BIOS Update from ASUS...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No luck at 3200 on Asus Tuf506IU replacing stock ram at 3200 Bought to replace 2x8gb sticks running at 3200mhz. Installed Crucial's recommended and booted up and it will only run at 2600 vs the Samsung stock at 3200. Can't figure out why Crucial's doesn't work out of the box. Asus is no help either. Asus also sells the same system with 32gb 2x16 installed at 3200. Maybe a future BIOS update from Asus will identify the Crucial SODIMM XMP profile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ballistix 64GB Kit runs at about 1300mhz instead of 1600mhz My ASUS laptop came with 16GB of samsung memory, DDR4-3200Mhz which runs fine at 1600Mhz but I ran out of memory when I tried watch videos, open over 100 photos in Paintshop Pro, etc. and then uses the microsoft pagefile / swapfile to use the hard drive to make up for the lack of memory. So I purchased the Ballistix 64GB kit which provides more the enough memory.... It runs flawless and I did not even come close to running out of memory, so YES it is good memory for the right use. Just runs a little slower and the ASUS BIOS did not let adjust for the 3200Mhz rating of the Ballistix memory.
