The Black Box® Async RS232 Extender Over Fiber features a 110–220-VAC power supply that allows you to send transmissions at reliable speeds and a continuous pace. The accessory is a useful tool for connecting devices in an automated system and makes for a more efficient alternative to traditional copper wiring.

Select the appropriate range for the Black Box ST/DB25 fiber driver when you wish to work around potential fluctuations in power. The device features an option for switching between DTE and DCE modes without the need for extra cables. The Black Box short-haul modem supports bidirectional transmission so you can both send and receive data. Install the driver to transmit over distances of up to 4km using a multimode cable. The signal can move at speeds of up to 76.8 kbps, allowing for high-speed communication between devices.
