The Async RS-232 to RS-485 Interface Bidirectional Converter with Opto-Isolation, DB25 Female to RJ-45 has the versatility you need and includes built-in 2500-Vrms optical isolators that provide isolation between the RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces. And if equipment protection isn't enough, this converter works with both 4-wire and 2-wire installations! Use it to transmit full- or half-duplex over 4 wires or half-duplex over 2 wires. The RS-232 interface features or female DB25 connector. A model with a male DB25 connector is also available (IC526A-M). The RS-485 side has an RJ-45 connector.
