Connectors meet an Ingress Protection rating of 67. Number 6 means the connector is totally protected from dust. Number 7 indicates the connector is protected from the effects of immersion between 15 centimeters and 1 meter. Use a Panel-Mount Connector with a Backshell Kit (sold separately) to make a water-resistant connection.
Construction consists of gold-plated brass contacts, nickel-plated steel shells, and a silicone insulating ring.

Connectors accommodate wire sizes from 30 to 20 AWG.
Solder cup connectors come in male or female versions.
