Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely horrible softwaresoftware is incapable of recognizing a printer that is already installed and working so I cant scan anything. I can try to reinstall the software but in a corporate setting with security on the network it doesnt find the printer, I can manually enter the IP address and it comes up but then it cant connect anyway. And you cant even uninstall the software short of manually deleting the 5 or 6 folders full of junk in your program files folders (have to stop some processes first, uninstall just plain doesnt work and windows doesnt list it in the programs list so you cant do that either (yes I tried run as administrator). Ridiculous, bad software kills an otherwise good product, yet again, f you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good upgradeReplaced an older Brother. (mfc-9970 cdw This model has better copies. It is a lot quieter than the 9970. Only issue, it is slower to print and make copies. I did not play around with it to see if I can speed it up. Pulled it out of the box and plugged it in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good ProductThe features are great (the only downside is how it crinkles the envelopes when those are printed. Overall, I am happy with the machine & it serves its purpose for what we need in a small office.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good. Appears to be a well built printerWe will probably replace our HP printers with these as they seem more dependable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible! The wireless capability goes offline constantly. One minute a printer can print to it and the next you spend countless hours trying to solve it. Would never recommend this printer to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Close to wonderfulFor the most part I love this printer. The one major flaw I have found is you have to have it away from the wall! In order to print an envelope you have have to open the back of the printer! I have mine right next to the wall. I now have to move it to accommodate this problem! Other than that I LOVE it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb PrinterThis is an amazing printer. It is very easy to set up; just follow the onscreen directions. The print quality is excellent and the colors are rich and full. I use the brother toner cartridges. I would recommend this printer to anyone wishing to produce professional-looking documents.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice product. No complaints at all. Functions as advertised. I use itwirelesf and after shutoff the unit down, I also have to restart both IMAC and MacBook Pro to get them to reconnect to the unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One word.....Great!We just purchased this new printer to replace our MFC-8890DW which we had for over 7 years....this was a real workhorse. This MFC-L8900CDW is "Great". Our first color laser. Normally we print all color docs on an InkJet...those days are now over. While some have commented that the dispslay panel is a tad laborious to navigate we found no problem with it. We use the Control Center 4 application to remotely setup any of the features and all works seamlessly with our network. It was basically take the printer our of the box, plug it in, and viola, the network found it immediately on all our devices...what a dream. We have only had this printer about a month so it's still in the trial period. The color docs we have printed so far are good. Not photo printer quality, but nonetheless, acceptable. The printers performance overall if five star....and the quality of the copies printed is far better than I've seen on other laser printers. This is truly a homerun for any office or home based business or just personal use.
