All of Brother's computer connectable label printers are supplied with advanced label-printing software in the box as standard. In addition to this software, there are other professional solutions available for download, or from your local Brother office.

Add the benefits of P-touch label printing directly from within your own existing software, or create your own totally customized labeling applications. By using the b-PAC SDK (Software Development Kit), your labels can contain any combination of text, barcodes, images and logos.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features for the cost. The purchase was to replace an older Brother hand-held labeler that finally gave up the ghost. The fact it was on sale made the purchase a no-brainer especially since it used the same label tapes. The 12-char display was a nice improvement over the older 8 char display, and the tape printouts were just as crisp and easy to read as the older unit. The table-top style made the device easier to use and since it uses 4 AAA instead of 6 AA, it is lighter and easier to carry. The advertised "200 symbols" that are included turned out to be a disappointment for me, most of them are oriented for kids. Symbols for everyday objects were rather spares. Overall, the product does what it advertises, does it well, and is a good value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does everything you want it to do !Would rate five stars if the consumables were less expensive. However I do love the little label printer as it will make horizontal labels and vertical labels. There is no ink to buy as it uses heat to print.
