This precision-engineered cable is ideal for connecting a computer with a DVI-D output to a display or projector with a DVI-D input in corporate and/or medical applications. It is fully compliant with the DVI standard defined by DDWG (Digital Display Working Group) and the DVI-D dual link configuration provides enough bandwidth for resolutions up to 2560x1600 pixels and allows high speed digital video transmission up to 9.9 Gbps. 28 AWG copper conductors are individually insulated in foam-polypropylene to minimize crosstalk, and ensure high speed, error-free transmission.

Purchase new computer
The cable worked just fine, however you could let me no that the out going connection from the computer to the monitor had been changed and you may need adaptor cable for your monitor. Luck for me the monitor has both cable ports.
