Very nice
This is a very nice printer. The setup was very straightforward and only took a couple of minutes to complete. The printer works flawlessly and prints quickly from anywhere that you are. The Wi-Fi capability and two sided printing is a must.

Excellent printing quality
I got this printer to use at my home office . It has a perfect size for a small office , has a nice design , the set up took a little longer but it was easy to follow all the steps , I’m very satisfied with the speed and quality of the printing .

Professional Quality
This printer provides professional quality in a consumer grade product. I have been extremely happy with the prints that have come from this printer. The one thing I’ll say is that for a single function printer it’s kind of large for a consumer device. You definitely need a little extra room compared to an inkjet printer, but those that are used to laser printers shouldn’t be surprised.

Fast Printer and It’s Not Too Big
Didn’t take too long to set up. But as a Mac user I did have to go searching for the drivers on Cannon’s website as Mac OS does not recognize the printer on its on. For iOS it worked seamlessly. It prints fairly fast and would be great for a small business or family that had a kid needing to print lots of papers as it is black and white only. You do get a lot of printing done per cartridge which is a plus of a laser printer over ink jet printers.

Pretty basic
This is a pretty basic printer - black and white only, no copy feature, only one size paper. If that's all you need, this works well, and prints quickly. Set up on wifi was actually relatively easy, could print within a few minutes. My computer could not find it remotely, however. I might have needed to install the drivers from the disc, which seems antiquated to me. I do not have it set up to print from the computer yet.

This has been such a blessing. I have used this so much since I got it and it works perfectly. Easy to hook up and easy to connect. Before we were regularly making trips to the local library each time we needed to print things.

Awesome Printer
This printer has been great. I took it out of the box and it was completely set up in no time. It was super easy to install with minimal effort. The printing has been great as well. It can print on two sides which is always a nice feature for a home printer as well as being better for the environment. It also prints much faster than I expected. I really like that is is wireless because now I don't have to set it up in a specific place but I have more flexibility. The quality of the prints is great as well. Overall I am very happy with this printer and would recommend it to anyone.

I am always on the lookout for ways to print and save some money. Laser printers are definitely the way to go on that because you get so much more out of the toner.
The printing process itself is a lot slower than I am used to with laser printing. It stops sporadically and then proceeds a few seconds later.
All in all it does what I am looking for it to do, so I have no complaints. it was easy to set up and print from. Would be awesome if it worked with thicker cardstock and had color- printing options available.

Great laser printer at the perfect time!
We were getting ready to get rid of our slow inkjet printer as 90% of the stuff we print is just black and white and this was the perfect solution. It prints crisp pages and at a much faster rate than the inkjet we had. Can't wait to use this more often!

Great Features
This printer is much larger than I was expecting. It is not a standard size desktop printer, but a larger one that had so many amazing features. It would be great for a small business or someone with heavy printing and scanning needs. It is perfect for us though as both my husband and I work from home. We now have this to handle many of our printing needs.
This was much easier to set up than I was expecting. It does connect to WIFI and we had no issues with connecting to ours at our home. The machine did have some updates that were needed, but these also downloaded pretty quickly and with no issues. It was all very seamless to get using and setup.
This has Air print which is an amazing feature. I love that I can print right from my phone. You just need to download the app and you have wireless printing from your phone. I have used this feature the most so far and love it.
I also love the scanning feature. We have to scan items for work and this makes it much easier than just trying to use our phone scanning feature.
This does take a black toner. We have not had it long enough to say how it will handle usage, but they seem to be a decent price for replacements online once it is needed.
Overall, we are very happy with our new printer.

Nice printer
I figured it was time to replace my old printer and went with this one. The main reason the old one got replaces was because it didn't have air print which this one does and it works flawlessly. Setup was very easy and the printer works great. Prints fast and is very high quality. The only thing I wish was a little better was the responsiveness of the display. It seems a big laggy but even that isn't that big of a deal.

This is definitely a great printer I can connect it through my phone if I need. It’s definitely a lot larger then I had expected but it works perfectly for my office in my home. Very easy to connect to internet and very easy to set up for your computer

The Canon ImageCLASS MF455dw has been a pleasant experience for me. I am able to keep pace with the high demand of printing multiple documents and in a short period of time. 40 pages per minute is pretty incredible and to have the scanning, faxing and printing capabilities of a small company, All in all it was an easy setup out of the box and simple connection instruction made it a snap to get started. I have been completely satisfied with this Canon printer. I would definitely recommend this Printer.

Bought this about 6 months ago. When it works it is fast. But when it doesn't it is terrible.
Printing checks from the automatic feeder works every other time. Scanning to email works, except when nothing happens. Touch screen is a pain. Luckily, I have an old Brother printer that is reliable so I can print there. This will be the last Canon product I buy, and I only bought it because there were no Brother printers available at the time.

1 year update: Oh man, the support is worth even more than the printer
1 year update: THUMBS UP! Oh man, the support is worth more than the printer.
I have used this thing for a year, intermittently, as needed. I've left it off much of the time, to save electricity, and EVERYTIME I try to print, it turns on, tunes in, n prints . . EVERY time. Copies are still as sharp as when I bought it, the wife is no longer afraid when I bring up printers in conversation . . . . I like it more now than when I bought it, mostly because it keeps doing what I bought it for, without my having to think about what to do if it won't . . why aren't phones like this? Why aren't new(ish kitchen appliances like this?? Someday this'll be like our 22 year old Toyota pickup, starts (n prints) 1st time, every time.
I bought it, I called, They said it was an HOUR wait!!!!! . .
Finally the nicest lady answered, answered 400 questions from a, by now, thoroughly wound up customer after sitting on the phone for an hour staring at router settings, printer settings, modem settings, WINDOZE setup screens, and wondering why I did not just kill myself now . . . she helped me update the firmware, fiddle with the sleep settings, set the copying up, printer up, the scanning, the email, the windows drivers, the Mopria android drivers . . and after 2 hours and forty minutes with this techy support gift from God, the darn thing works . . repeatedly.
My wife went out for coffee with the dog to get away from the histrionics, and came back to a happy camper . . .
This printer has more settings than the entire US Army mess hall system . . there is NO WAY any consumer could do this without giving up their day job . . . but Towandia (really, that IS her name) took it all in stride, and politely steered me right, and treated me like a human being . .
Documents and photos and the machine itself, actually . . all look pretty good, and it is a quiet machine, you can even control the volume of the dings and dongs it utters; the control panel is kinda fun, if a bit intimidating, but, like I said, the darn thing works . . . its' cost per page for printing is a bit higher because the cartridge containing the ink ALSO contains the image drum, BUT, unless you are printing oodles and oodles, paying 4-6 cents a page isn't that big a deal, because the new laser image drum and ink combo, means a very fast, great image every time . . and no darn inkjet clogging disasters or changes to boot.
I LIKE this thing . .
I scanned a bunch of nonsense and sent it off to the wife's email, just because I could . . I changed the folder where all scans are kept, just because I could, I even printed an envelope with addresses that looked like I knew how to set up a #10 envelope file . . oh happy day . . .
Unbelievably complex, intricate, encyclopedic knowledge required, and support handled all of it with nary a discouraging word, nor stentorian tone. I have my self respect intact . .. and a printer that works.
Setup by the average consumer, ill advised, if not psychologically risky . . . .

Could never get my scanner set up correctly.
Could never get my scanner feature set up correctly. Didn't want to connect - followed the instructions exactly. The only reason I bought it was because the scanner on my old copier had failed.

Terrible product
I bought it in October 2021, had problems installing it. Spent over an hour with Tech Support on phone. Now the document feeder does not work. How am I supposed to make copies of multiple documents? Tried to contact Tech Support at 800-652-2666, after holding for 73 minutes, the representative clicked off on me - Soooo Terrible. Run as fast as possible away from this product!!!!
