I tried every method described on the support section of the Canon website and it still didn't work. Had to go out and purchase another ink cartridge and it worked just fine. When I called the phone number on the back of the packing slip to get the number that is required to return something, I waited on hold for an hour. The first person who answered couldn't help me and transferred me to someone else which put me back on hold for another 45 minutes. That person finally answered and said they won't return ink cartridges that are open and I had to call technical support. Why isn't this info written on the packing slip?! And why is there no other way to contact anyone besides calling and waiting on hold for almost two hours only to be told you've wasted your time?! It was the worst customer service experience of my life and I will never purchase another Canon printer. They don't stand by their products. All I wanted was to return the faulty ink cartridge I was sent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I installed the color cartridge right away upon receipt and noticed that the screen did not register ink as full. It worked normally for about 5 pages in two days and then it registered as empty. Then because of that, my printer would not work at all. Also, since getting ink cartridges locally is becoming very difficult and ridiculously expensive, i had to take the backup cartridge we share here and it is now working but i still need to get another backup cartridge for the next time this one runs out, which based on this experience could be the next time i try to print anything.

The stores don't have the ink and my order showed on backlog with no indication of when there might be some available. Their customer service did not know either. I got the color ink a day or two ago. That was fine but the black is the one that I need to print. I got an email yesterday that said the black ink was on the way to their warehouse and should be available soon. That's great but I needed the black two weeks ago. I called the store where I bought the printer and wanted to return it but it had to be within two weeks. I will get another brand printer after I get and finish the black that may come SOON?. There was almost no Canon ink inventory of any kind in any of the stores. There was plenty of other brand inks in the store.

I haven’t really noticed a difference between the regular cartridge and the XL cartridge, they both seem to last the same amount of time. I got the biggest printer I could find at my local Walmart (TR4520 PIXMA but I may be looking into something a little more office-worthy. This printer just doesn’t have the capacity we need.

Recently our CCRC installed a new WIFI network, it has taken over month to get the printer to work. Changing to a new provider would not have been so difficult if proper instructions were easily found. Making a direct wireless connection did not work as detailed in the manual.

I don't buy from the "cartridges are us people" but would like to have a recycling deal with Canon, like you used to have. I have so much 4 x 6 photo paper, but would like to have a choice maybe based on dollars spent, or for sending spent ink cartridges back. Perhaps, the option to purchase recycled cartridges or get customer promos for that.

For my purposes, i.e. occasional printing of photographs, needed documents, the amount of ink the cartridge holds and lasts is quite reasonable for the cost and quality. The quality of the ink and the out put of the printed matter is very good. When I print photographs, together with Canon Photo paper, the quality of the printed image has exceeded my expectation. The ink cartridge is easy to install. the ink dries rather quickly. I've been using this product ever since I purchased my printer and it has been serving its purpose well for approximately the past 4 years.

I called yesterday because after way too many days of being told my cartridges were still in Chicago, the nice lady on the phone said they would be delivered that day. They were, but your on-line site if awful. I hope that clears up by the next time I need cartridges. Richurd Somers

It took a while for my payment to clear, but the ink arrived very shortly after it was cleared, and it was well packaged. It is such an easy way to get my ink cartridges - sometimes the store I usually go to doesn't have my particular kind, then I'm running all around to find some. This will be my way of shopping for my ink cartridges from now on! Is there anyway to recycle the old cartridges?
