The dependable P579-020-4K6 (M/F) connects to your existing DisplayPort cable to extend the run by 20 feet (6.1 meters). This allows you more flexibility in placing, for instance, a cable box or media server connected to a DisplayPort-enabled television, monitor or projector. The male connector latches securely to help prevent the cable from becoming accidentally disconnected and disrupting a continuous audio/video signal.

This extension cable supports Ultra HD 4K resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz. It's compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 standards for HDR, providing a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks. HDCP 2.2 compliance allows you to stream 4K Amazon and Netflix content with no complications. This cable also supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.

The extension cable requires no software or external power. Just connect the female connector to your existing DisplayPort cable, and connect the latching male connector to your 4K display.
