The IBM 3588 TS1070 Model F7C is designed to be installed in an IBM TS4500 Tape Library to deliver high capacity and performance for the midrange open systems environment. These models incorporate the LTO IBM Ultrium 7 Tape Drive with enhanced maximum tape drive throughput over the IBM LTO generation 6 tape drive (Ultrium 6). It has a native data transfer of up to 300 MB/s.
