Extra Layer of Protection!
This turned out to be the perfect accessory! I bought a ThinkPad for my nephew to take to college. I work at the same university so I see how kids treat their laptops as they throw them in and out of their backpacks. This is the perfect extra layer of protection.

Too big for x1 carbon
Seems well made, but it is too big for the 14 inch X1 Carbon. There is about an inch or two of extra space in each direction so it is not a snug fit.

Handle ripped very the first time I picked it up. Lenovo makes the warranty process such a headache that it's not even worth the time. Waste of money. Better off with a cheap Walmart sleeve

Does it's job, but cheaply made.
Cheaply made, handle for the zipper broke within weeks of use, and the carrying handle is also already showing clear signs of wear and tear.
It does however do it's job, and I like how the sleeve doesn't unzip all the way.

Very high quality product; I like that it opens on the short end, so I can put the sleeve in my backpack and take out my laptop with just one hand seamlessly. Handle works great - retractable. Outside zipper pocket is great; just wish there was a slot for a touchscreen pen.

WAY too big! This laptop sleeve says that it is designed for a 14" laptop, but it is significantly larger than the published dimensions and could easily fit a much larger laptop.

Lenovo ThinkPad 14” Sleeve
This sleeve is the essential carry bag for my new Thinkpad Carbon X1 laptop. I looked at others, but returned for the Lenovo sleeve.
It has not disappointed me. It is well made and durable. It perfectly protects my laptop from harm.
Save time and guard yourself from making a mistake with another sleeve. But the Lenovo sleeve now!

Good sleeve, wrong size
This was almost excellent, except that lenovo suggests seemingly the wrong size for my computer.
The build quality seems good, though i have only had it for a few days with minimal use. It protects the computer with a layer of neoprene on both sides and doubled-over fabric on the edges.
This was the lenovo-recommended sleeve for the yoga x1 gen6 14". Unfortunately, it is too large by 1" in one direction and almost 2" in the other, so the computer has a lot of room to slide around. The 13" sleeve is properly sized for this computer, but isn't even listed as compatible on the Lenovo website. In short, check the dimensions of your computer and the dimensions of this sleeve and you should be happy.

The only complaint I have is that the sleeve is actually slightly too big for a 14" T14 laptop, so there is extra unwanted room inside. Otherwise, it's perfect!

This sleeve seems fine, but I purchased it because it was suggested alongside the X1 Carbon expecting it to fit. It is much too large for the X1 Carbon, so I had to return it.

Do not purchase for 14" Thinkpad Carbon x1
I purchased a 14" Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon X1 and during checkout Lenovo suggested the ThinkPad 14" sleeve. Great! - Wait, not so fast!!! No where are the dimensions of the sleeve listed. The sleeve is huge in comparison to the laptop. Laptop dimensions are ~12.5"x9". The sleeve is ~15"x11". Most disappointing part is neither customer service nor sales were able to assist in determining the manufacturers sizing for the ThinkPad 13" or 14" sleeves. I still don't know if I was sent the wrong product or if the advertising is just off... (If your laptop is in the 14"x10" size, the case does seem to be good quality.)

I bought this with my new E14 Thinkpad and it is huge. Seems it would fit a 15 or 16 inch laptop much better. The E14 is arguably larger than some of the other Thinkpads, can't figure out how this got through to production as a 14-inch laptop sleeve. I am quite disappointed.

A little flimsy, but really soft inside. I haven't used it yet, so I can't say how protective it is, but it should do the job. I got this sleeve to protect my ThinkPad while traveling and going to coffee shops to study. When going to the airport, I'll place this sleeve inside another protective bag or backpack for extra protection.

I like that the material feels thick and protective but not sure how shock protective it is. +1 for how soft it feels. There's some extra room if you're using a 14 inch laptop (in my case X1 Carbon Gen 9 where I can store my charger and mouse.

I recently purchased the Thinkpad T14S and this sleeve to go with it. It certainly does not fit the laptop. It is at least 1.5 inches too long to be considered fitted. I read other reviews saying the same thing, and I thought, “it can’t be that bad.” It is. Lenovo do better.

The sleeve is a good lightweight design with the easy access handle to carry the laptop and other components in the 2 large spacious zipper pockets. The material is soft to the touch and I never have to worry about the laptop becoming scratched from it. It is also very durable and has not shredded or broken up over doorframes, car doors, or chairs catching it. The large pockets allow me to carry my laptop, the charger, card reader, and other everyday items without squeezing things together. I never have to worry about light damage such as dents and scratches due to the material and space in the pockets. The handle is firm and nice to the touch.

Good sturdy feeling case, I haven't had it for long so I can't say how it's going to hold up over time, but so far so good. I do wish it fit my laptop a bit tighter, but other than that, nice buy.

This case is exactly what I expected. It's an appropriate size and weight for the computer. The extra pocket is fabulous and the handle is so much better than any other case I've ever had.
I would improve the case with a charging cable peep hole and a second pocket with some smaller organizing sections like velcro to hold the cables in place and a spot to store a pen.

The sleeve is lightweight, has a pocket for my mouse and power cord, and holds the computer well. It is great for on the go and to keep things extra portable. If you are looking for something more protective, then this case would not be the right choice as it does not have extra padding. This was just what I needed!

Much Larger than Expected with a Very Loose Fit
As other reviewers have suggested, this is quite big for a 14" sleeve. A tight fit it is not. It would fit a 15" laptop easily. One might be better off opting for the 13" sleeve for a 14" laptop. I am still within the return period, and I'm on the fence. To be sure, because of the pandemic, I haven't used this sleeve to travel, as I otherwise would have, but I think about keeping it because I can also fit a notepad, a mouse, and some writing materials in the sleeve along with the computer. It still might be big. I admit that there is something sexy about having a "sleeve" fit the computer like a glove. There are a grown man's glove on a child's hand. Lenovo should be more forthright about the dimensions, as this is not what I expected from its description.

This ThinkPad 14" Sleeve is a great buy! It has a great feel to it, wonderful soft padding on the inside, and convenient handle on the top and a zippered pocket to protect charging cord, wireless mouse, paperwork or other important things you need while on the go. It is a little bigger than the Lenovo E14 laptop which makes it easy to slide the laptop into it but it does mean it sits a little loosely in the sleeve itself. Overall, HIGHLY recommend for 14" Lenovo laptops!

It is a very convenient sleeve. The front pocket is large enough to fit the charger and a mouse. I wish there was another pocket at the back to put a few sheets of paper. It is not very tightly covering my 14" thinkpad which is fine by me. The interior material is very soft and feels nice. The outside material gets dusty easily because of the black color I guess. It is a very nice sleeve, but one cannot expect a sleeve to protect the laptop very well.

I recently purchased a T495s for college and bought this sleeve to protect it. It is very lightweight and the carrying handle and front pouch are extremely useful. It could have a little more padding, but it is very soft on the inside, and it fits my ThinkPad well.

Well made, excellent sleeve to match your Thinkpad
Bare bones, high quality and well made. I bought this to use exclusively for my X1 Carbon. I believe it is a Targus made sleeve so at least I know it is quality. Plenty of cushion for my Thinkpad, thin enough that I can carry it without having to the built in handle. The handle is a nice touch too and I actually frequently use it. Highly recommended.

Great and needed accessory for my new laptop!
Quality sleeve for my T490 there is about half an inch extra space but nothing too bad.The extra pocket is very useful. Room for a small laptop stand, mouse with case, and in-ear earphones with case and a bit more room. The stitching is done really well, nothing hanging out or loose stitching. Purchased from Lenovo knowing I would get an authentic sleeve rather than amazon or ebay - lots of counterfeits nowadays. I was really hoping the Thinkpad logo was stitched but it seems to be painted on. The handle is functional and slide in and out at both ends and is flushed with the rest of the sleeve when not in use (not automatic, needs to be pushed down with some help). The interior is very soft and will protect the laptop for what seems for the life of the sleeve. Great sleeve - very happy with my purchase.

I am so pleased with my new think pad. It is sleek, the components work so smoothly. What I mean is it opens without catching and is screaming fast. It easily connects to the tv I need to for teaching my class. It is small enough to be convenient but has the power of a big unit. I hook my mouse up easily and the keyboard works so nicely. Perfect for extra protection in a basic backpack.
I bought this sleeve so I could have something to protect my X1 YOGA in my regular JanSport backpack. It is happily doing exactly what I wanted it to do. The sipper opens up on the shorter side, so I can slide my laptop in and out of my backpack without removing the sleeve. In addition to the main pocket there is one large zipper pocket on the outside, which I slide my mouse pad, yoga mouse, and mouse charger in. There are no other unnecessary pockets to add bulk. Be Careful When Sizing!
Not quite the right size...I bought this because it was supposed to fit my X1 Yoga 3rd Generation. Instead it has a fair amount of excess room in there.
Perhaps this is just because I picked the wrong size, maybe it’s poorly fit, I’m not yet sure. I contacted Lenovo about an exchange a few weeks ago and the process seems to be stalled - I have no idea what’s going on. They need to do a better job of letting you select the product you own and then providing a series of optional add-ons exclusive to your product.
If i bought the laptop directly through them it would’ve probably worked like that, but I bought mine via Costco.

I was looking for a tight fitting sleeve from my 470. It covers it, but there's extra space all around. it does protect the laptop. I use it in my computer bag to add extra protection. I use it at home so that it's not sitting out unprotected. the side pocket seems useful for tablets, or papers.

It's a sleeve - a bit flimsy. Handle is good. Would have preferred something a little stiffer that doesn't fold in half when empty. I use this for device protection, but I would not travel with it - use stiffer thin Lenovo case instead.

Good looking sleeve type case, good fit for T490. Pouch will hold charger. Sleeve is moderately padded. OK for storage needs, but not intended to protect from very rough handling. Be sure to insert computer with the top display side AWAY FROM the stored charger brick(bottom of computer adjacent to stored charger) to prevent a sharp blow to the charger side of the sleeve from damaging the ThinkPad display.

Excellent case that is much less bulky than other
The Thinkpad 14" sleeve is the best compact case I've found for a 14" laptop. It is not bulky but has room for the laptop with a side pocket for a charger or other accessories. It is somewhat unique in that the zippered opening is on the side instead of top. I have a very thin 14" model so there is a little more room in the case than I like. The advantage of this is it will fit a wider range of models.

Too big for a T480s
I bought this and had to turn it back, exchange it for a 13 for my T480s, Lenovo SHOULD test their sleeves on the different models and they should not leave this to the customer.

Lenovo Sleeve
It is a little bit loose than the laptop itself. It is not fitting unlike other sleeves. I was expecting it to be on the right since it is from lenovo.

Great sleeve, reasonably priced.
Fits my T480 perfectly, and I love the minimal aesthetic. The handle on the side slides away to stow compactly. The sleeve on the side is big enough to carry the charger, although it does bulge a bit with the charger placed in there. This is not a hard case, but offers peace of mind for my laptop while it's in my backpack.

Soft 14" Sleeve for Laptop
This is nice soft Sleeve. It includes a good handle and a pocket with a zipper. It is easy to carry around and small that it will fit in a backpack when needed.

Good concept, wrong size
I bought the sleeve together with my computer, as the special price was good. It is nice and practical, though it is a bit too large for my laptop. I would like it to fit it more snuggly, so it just protects the laptop and not have the laptop swim in it. I usually put my laptop with its sleeve in my other bag, so it takes up additional unnecessary space.
I do like that it has an extra zipper where I can put the cables and my mouse.

Nice quality, nice features, wrong size
Something is wrong. I just bought this sleeve for my new 14" Thinkpad laptop and what I got had a label saying it was the Thinkpad 14" Sleeve, but my laptop swims in it. I measured the sleeve to be 14.5" x 11.25" while the dimensions of the 14" laptop are 13" x 8.5". I was expecting a snug sleeve. The dimensions advertised for the 14" sleeve are wrong. Otherwise, it looks like a nice case of good quality if only it was the right size. I have to return this one, which is a disappointment and a humbug.

Very well made and light weight. Secure zipper closure for laptop. Not too snug so that my 14" ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 8 laptop easily slides in and out with room for papers. Nice soft padding inside. Convenient zip closed separate outside pocket large enough for cables, connectors and other essentials. Excellent handle for ease of carrying.

The users love this sleeve
If you spend a lot of time customizing the perfect laptop configuration for your company and at the end the users complaint for the bulky laptop bag, this sleeve provide a perfect companion with an executive look and enough protection. The quality and design of the sleeve is good the only concern is the power adapter, that could press the screen, Lenovo needs to learn from other Laptop manufacturers how to make flat power adapters.

OK, but too big for T14s
As others have pointed out, this sleeve is too big for the Thinkpad T14s gen 3. In hindsight, I wish I would have bought a smaller one with a tighter fit. The quality seems good.

Comforting Handy Quiet way to carry your ThinkPad
The sleeves (have bought a couple of them) allow one to carry a ThinkPad (TP) other than in an obvious notebook bag. As here: put TP into sleeve - note how this pads the TP without adding much bulk -, then put sleeve containing TP into a receptacle of stiffness according to your judgement i.e. receptacle can be a close-fitting cardboard box, can also be a stiffer receptacle, and then transport your TP without flashing it too much. Comforting and Handy if you are using your TP weightily to straighten things out somewhere. You can do that with a ThinkPad. Genuine retail customer here. Not kidding about that, either.

Nice while it lasted.
You get what you pay for I guess. The case is attractive and nicely fits my 14" ThinkPad along with my power block and cable. If you carry a mouse things start to get tight, but still manageable. I do not believe the case would provide any drop protection at all. The main problem is the handle - after 8 months it is detaching from the case. I did not really expect Lenovo to replace the case and they met my expectations. Bottom Line - find a better case than this.

sleeve handle
Hi Colleague TP Owner WWWeb, I am sorry your sleeve's handle tore. The photos look pretty rough. Please bear in mind your damaged sleeve and picture or, as circumstances allow, look at your full-fledged notebook bag (i.e. Targus etc.). You do have one, do you not? Look at that handle. Likely big, both sewn and riveted to the bag/case , with reinforcement patches also present. You may agree, after comparing the sleeve and bag handles with each other that the sleeve handle is way light for actually carrying and esp. for picking up the sleeve with your TP inside - think of the G force on the handle here. Yes one could fault Lenovo for providing a lightweight sleeve with a handle that certainly is going to fail sooner than a beefed-up handle on a full-fledged bag. But we Owners also should buy TP accessories judiciously, esp. because Lenovo is a big company with lots of decision streams, and they no doubt concentrate most on deciding right about the core products i.e. ThinkPads etc. and maybe concentrate less, sometimes, on the accessories. As is likely the case here. Maybe if you are kind to them when you complain about the badly torn handle on your sleeve they will send you a replacement sleeve for your trouble. Regards.

Well made, Fits Thinkpad nicely
I bought this for my husband's new Thinkpad. It appears to be well-made and fits the Thinkpad well. I like the fact that it has a pocket. Only problem, I received 10 sleeves in one large box, and only ordered and paid for one. I called and talked to someone in customer service, and she said someone would send me a label to send the extra ones back, but it's been a couple of weeks, and I haven't received the label yet.
