Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent printer for small or home officeI received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I work in a smaller engineering office with minimal space available for common use items like printers. We do print a lot of documents throughout the day, and so while we need something smaller space wise, we also need it to be able to keep up with the printing demand. The Lexmark B2865dw Printer provides the perfect harmony of overall size and printing capacity.The printer easily fits onto a small table or desk in a common area or office and would also easily fit on a tabletop within a cubicle. It arrives securely packaged but was very easy to set up and assemble based on the instructions provided (though I do recommend having two people available to lift the box when it arrives as it is very heavy!) Overall setup of the printer took me less than an hour. Setting up the operating functions via the LCD screen was easy as well.The Wi-Fi capabilities of the printer are ideal for any office situation where it will have multiple users, not only for printing, but for scanning documents as well. The printer also has the standard hardwired Ethernet and USB connectivity, which is convenient for office guests who may need to print something. When printing pages, I found the printer to be surprisingly quiet given how fast it was running (on average of 1 page a second, which is as fast as I’ve seen from much larger printers). The output speed is more than enough for any office, and the quality of the prints is excellent. I also found minimal delays in sending high file print jobs to the printer, which was a pleasant surprise. This little machine has the same function and capacity of much larger office printers. The double-sided printing has performed flawlessly, with no paper jams or issues. In fact, I have yet to get a paper jam on any print job. I have yet to see how many pages I will get out of the toner cartridge, but the claim is 15,000 pages, which is more than decent. Overall, I am beyond pleased with how the Lexmark B2865dw Printer performs. It’s got the heart and soul of a much larger printer in a small, sleek, modern body. For an office of less than 100 employees, or any home office, this is an excellent choice for your printing needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lexmark 2865DWI received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. In general and in overall, this product quality and enhancement will be categorized as `fair`. There were so many roadblocks as to why it is in the fair ratings due to its initial set up after I received it. The instructional set up was difficult to follow and took some time before I was able to finally set it up. Second, the printing quality in regards to the ink is not too clear and thus very poor and will take several in takes of prints before one could see black ink. The good quality of this product that I really liked and enjoyed is the ability for it to be set up wirelessly and be printed wirelessly if one decided not to connected it through USB cable from one end to another. Thirdly, too many unnecessary buttons in the mirror sections for one to navigate when either defaulting the printer or changing it into one`s preferred choice of printing preference. It is a bit confusing for one to do all that. There should have been an easy way for one to do that rather than navigating through the use of multiple buttons to ascertain one`s printing preference. Overall, as I said before, the quality and value of the printer is rated as `fair` due to all the aforementioned above.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and quietI received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. The printer I was currently using was fine, but when I needed to print multiple jobs, it could not handle the load and would simply delete the job. This printer was more than capable of handling multiple jobs, fast and quietly. It certainly exceeded any expectations I had. Set up was literally plug and play. I simply replaced my old printer with the new one - same cord - and clicked on the icon. It was up and ready in less time then it took to take it out of the box! The footprint is a little larger than my previous printer, but considering the output, it is not unreasonable. Performance is excellent. I have printed many print jobs which have varied from 1 page to 100s of pages. Each time the printer is quiet and quick. Two-sided copies require either resetting the settings or use of the feeder. Other than that I have not had any issues with the printer. The fact that it is also an Airprint printer is very convenient when wanting to print directly from my iPhone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Nifty Printer!I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.The Lexmark B2865dw printer is a large, heavy, and thoroughly attractive (in so much a printer can be) device. It prints clear, crisp pages quickly and on both sides -- exactly what I was looking for in a printer. After set-up, it is very easy to use. The instructions that were provided left a little to be desired by way of initial set up, but I powered through and managed to get it up and running -- after which, it has worked easily and well. While I have not had any of the jamming trouble I`ve heard other users complain of, I have also only had the machine for a very short time, so I cannot speak to that issue -- so far so good, though! And other copiers/printers I have used (too many to count) have all had some jamming issues from time to time, including several comparable printers at work and home that have jammed repeatedly and immediately, so already this one has out-printed several other brands/models I have had to suffer through!Again, I have only had this product a short time and have not been able to fully explore it`s potential (and potential flaws), but it seems to be a very well-built and efficient printer! I wish that the set-up (in particular, the wi-fi connections) were a little easier to navigate at the start, but it is not impossible and easy to find additional resources to help you through the process if you need it! Overall, I really like it and it seems to be a better product than most of the other printers I have used - maybe not as reliable as the Daisy-Wheel Printer of my youth, but it definitely prints a more lifelike image :)
