Can Now Hear Sounds not Possible on Previous Speakers
This unit replaced my other Self-Powered Bookshelf speakers and I can now hear tones not possible in my old system. Low end sounds are much more distinct and I'm hearing 30-40% more of the music than before. Blu-Ray movies also have much more expanded sound.

My wife loves them.
I bought this speaker system for my wife. She loves them. They have great mids and highs. The bass on them is awesome when she has the bass turned up they shake the whole house. They come with two speakers that produce great crisp sound and the 7" sub like I said shakes the whole house. I live in a 80' x 28' mobile home and she has them hooked up in the chill room on the offensive of the house and when I'm in the master bedroom I can hear them clearly and feel the bass. I would recommend this speaker system to everybody.

This ROCKS! Literally!
Got this as an upgrade to my Z213. Boy what an upgrade it truly has been. I can't wait to for the time of day when I can play it without getting complaints from neighbors. I set the volume at 30% and the sub at 50% puts out heavy thumps on the floor 3 ft away from my armoire. I played Amazon Prime movie and the sound is excellent for a 2.1 system. If you want Bass in your sound then this is the speakers for you.

Sounds great!
The sound that this system pours out is incredible. My only wish was the cables needed to be longer for my setup, but other than that i am happy with the set.

Logitech THX certified
I just received these speakers today. What can I say but WOW!!! Great sounding speakers. Don't let the price throw you off. if you listen to alot of music on your computer, like I do, you want these speakers. Everything sounds good when it's THX certified. I am also an amateur musician who uses a computer based program to write music on. These speakers will make it alot easier for me to do mix downs versus buying expensive pro studio monitors. Overall great sounding speakers.

Very pleased
I took a leap of faith after reading the good reviews about the Lofitech Z623 speakers and I am so glad I did! They are just what I was wanting. Nothing too big, easy to hook up and I love the sound. I definitely would recommend these speakers to others and in fact, I have!

Excellent Sound
I only wish I could get a few more mid-tones from the speakers. I'll have to keep working at it. Overall they're a great product. They can rumble when they have to, especially while playing games. The bass will knock your socks off. Of course music sounds great also! I'm a musician, so take my word for it. I have a good ear for sound! You won't be disappointed. . . .

THESE ARE GREAT SOUNDING SPEAKERS.I HAVE THEM IN A 13 BY 15 ROOM AND COULDNT BE HAPPIER. MUSIC SOUNDS GREAT AND SO DOES THE GAMES. CANT BEAT IT FOR THE PRICE.

Turn down the BASS
This system was really easy to set up. The capability of the subwoofer was so incredible that I had to adjust the graphic equalizer to reduce subwoofer output. Once that was done, the reproduction is crystal clear with wonderful bass tones and clear highs. My home-office environment is transformed into wonderful place to work.

1st off wen i got mine my right speaker had an issue wen playing audio -___-
2nd I find it strange that in the specs there is no frequency range listed. although I can tell you that since there is only one speaker i the right and left rather than 2 to seperate the highs and the lows like in the the much cheaper $80 logitech surround sound system, it probably isnt as good. the surround system gets a range of 45 Hz - 2 kHz, which is extraordinary.
3rd while the sub is in my opinoin wonderful, it lacks the ability to plug in multiple speakers.

You can't alway's believe the reviews on products when you read them, but this time you can believe it ! I've been into music all my life. My family sang Gospel music and recorded five records (lol..."records" That tells you that I'm no spring chicken) before I reached the age of twelve. I had my own Gospel group when I got older, and have been writing both Gospel and Country music for 30 years. Needless to say I have been around music equipment all my life, plus I love listening to all styles of music. I've owned, and currently own professional music equipment. I only got into computers about 8 years ago. My first computer was getting kinda old and outdated, so I just ordered a new HP computer. My printer, monitor & speakers arived just yesterday...only 3 days after I ordered them. I was excited to get them so I hooked up the monitor & speakers to my old computer. Both work and look great. This speaker system sounds great ! I have 10's of thousands of songs and video's on my computer and I'm hearing them like I've never heard them before. Very rich tones and I love the bass, clarity and volume. I can't wait to get my new computer and see how much better it sounds with a better sound card and the Beats Audio software. Also, I love the fact that I can hook it to my flat screen and do away with that speaker bar I bought, That was $60 waisted...I never use it. I'm going to Radio Shack later to buy an RCA cable to hook it up, then I think I'll watch a movie just so I can hear how good it sounds. I love everything about this speaker system. I haven't even mentioned that you can hook your phone, iPad, games, etc. up as well. BEST PURCHASE I'VE MADE IN YEARS....LOVIN" IT !!!

Using the Logitec Z623 2.1 speaker system for I-tunes on my laptop. I have to say that for the price you won't find another system that sounds as rich and deep. I'd recommend this purchase if you are neededing a speaker system for your computer.

This system is incredible, and competes with systems costing far more! I ruled out the Logitech Z 506 because the clutter of six speakers in an already cluttered space made no sense. The Z 623 is the only system that's THX certified which is George Lucas' company certification, which means very high quality. With 200 Watts, I was concerned how well the system would play at very low volume late at night so I don't disturb my neighbors and was told that with THX cert. it will play great at any volume - it does! The THX is right on the speakers at the top in the photo.
It's whisper quiet on low and turns up very gradually and sounds great all the way! It's got so much power, I haven't gone above half volume except to test it and usually am between 1/3 and 1/2.
The huge sub woofer truly rumbles when it needs to with NO DISTORTION, and I usually have that at less than halfway also. Highs are crisp, and midtones are full. Tested it with Star Wars and it blew me away!
There are inputs for headphones and other audio devices as well.

At first I was skeptical about getting speakers without listening to them beforehand but let me tell you, these speakers are worth every penny, and them some! I live in a dorm room and when I pumped the speakers 3/4 of the way with the volume and all the way with the bass, my RA came in and said her body was shaking - my RA lives 4 doors down and the walls in between each room are cinder block. If positioned correctly, you can get a full room surrounded with bass because the little speakers act like little subwoofers too. The subwoofer itself is amazing! it has sound ports (red and white) for your xbox or whatever else you want to listen to these amazing speakers!!!
If you get these, trust me, you won't be disappointed.

A lot of band for the buck
I fell in love with the room filling bass, crisp highs and the mid range really stood out. I listened to some $300 dollar speakers for my notebook, but they couldn't compete with these Logitech speakers I got from HP.

Good bang for the buck
The subwoofer overpowers the sats. They need an equalizer to balance them out better than standalone. I have always had good luck with Logitech products.

Fantastic sound!
I purchased this speaker system based on the reviews I'd read and I am very glad I did. I haven't had a true stereo system in years and decided to put out the extra $ for decent sound since I tend to use my pc to listen to music. I wish it had a remote control; but otherwise I'm extremely satisfied.

Boom! This system rocks. I really did not expect this much sound from this size system. The side speaker where about the size I expected, but the sound quality I did not expect! Its great!, and that base speaker is way meaner and cleaner than I could image. I looked at the reviews on this system as I was building my new computer from HP and you guys (fellow reviewers) where right on spot about this system. Definately a best buy.
