The standby INTERNET600U UPS system provides reliable battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges and line noise that can damage valuable electronics or destroy data. The 10-outlet 120V battery backup is ideal protection for your home office, media center or commerce components, including computers, routers, printers, NAS drives, HDTVs, Blu-ray players, game consoles, media players, DVRs and audio receivers.

Backup support allows you to work through short power failures and gives you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Backup time varies according to load, but the INTERNET600U should keep an energy-efficient desktop computer with small LCD monitor powered as long as 16 minutes. During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the replaceable internal battery fully charged, so backup power will always be available.

Five 5-15R outlets provide battery backup and surge protection for your computer, monitor and other crucial components. The other five 5-15R outlets provide surge suppression only for printers, speakers and other desktop equipment regarded as non-essential during a blackout. A high >98% line mode efficiency rating reduces BTU emissions, energy consumption and, ultimately, your energy costs.

A 316-joule surge suppression rating protects connected components from the harmful effects of power surges. Dual network data line surge suppression jacks protect a wired peripheral from dangerous surges on a single 10/100Base-T or dial-up network connection.

This USB port connects the INTERNET600U to a computer running Tripp Lite's free downloadable PowerAlert software to enable safe unattended file saves and system shutdown in case of a prolonged power failure. USB cable is included. Battery independent restart ensures automatic UPS power-up without user interaction after lengthy power outages, even when batteries are expired and require replacement.

Various electromagnetic and radio sources found in virtually every home and business can cause disruptive interference on the AC line. Known as EMI (electromagnetic interference) and RFI (radio frequency interference), this line noise is a common cause of performance problems and can lead to incremental hardware damage, data corruption and audio/video transmission problems. The INTERNET600U incorporates technology that filters out disruptive line noise so that it won't affect your equipment.

The UPS remains silent in both line and battery backup modes. The alarm sounds only to warn you of a low battery or fault condition. A front-panel green LED indicates operating mode and fault status.

The space-saving ABS housing fits on a desktop, shelf or anywhere else convenient to your workstation or home theater. Keyhole mounting tabs on the rear allow easy wall-mount installation. The five-foot power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug connects to any compatible AC outlet.

Tripp Lite Internet Office INTERNET600U is rated4.67 out of5 by9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed!I work on my PC at home every day. Quite a few times, in the past year, the power has been interrupted. I needed something to protect my work and also my computer. I just setup the UPS system and feel confident with this purchase. I researched for the best power strip with surge protection and it brought me to Tripplite. Money well spent! Pretty heavy duty looking as well :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Set-upToo soon to write a meaningful review n rating, as I have had the product for just over a month. The set-up was pretty straight forward. No write-up at all for the product to get a good understanding on its functionality. More details may be available on net! So far so good, time will tell!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wanted this to work. Sorry Tripp Lite. Very mediocre.Software is very difficult to install, I gave up on trying. After a full charge, a brief power interruption (a blip, less than a second) had my computer reset because the UPS would not hold it up. Oh, it powered back on (on battery), but the UPS didn't react quickly enough to keep it from rebooting. I've moved it to simply protecting my router/modem/VOIP and it seems to be doing well. Annoying that you cannot turn orr the alarm. I plan on physically trying to remove it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from battery back up works greatI live in the country where the electrical power is off and on for a few seconds every week. Got this unit for battery back up. which helps the printer and directv receivers from resetting itself when power goes off. works very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this battery back up again.Definitely a good value for a 600VA unit. Enough battery outlets to back up my modem, router, and printer. I like the self test feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tripp-lite ultra compactI have been using this as a backup power unit on a media cart I use for machine programming and development. I move this around a lot and having both the surge protection and UPS available when connecting to different equipment, some which do not have a power supply available. I can gain extended time when necessary and know my laptop is protected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It worked! My unit arrived on a Friday afternoon. I plugged it in and let it charge for about an hour while I rearranged and cleaned up the mess of power cables at my computer desk. I reconnected all the various power cables to the UPS. Now it was time to see if it really worked. I pulled the main power input to the UPS from the wall plug. The warning signal started but the computer kept right on running. I powered down the computer system and all peripherals without a problem. The following day was Saturday and at about 10 AM I had the computer on but was sitting in an adjacent room writing checks when I heard the UPS warning signal. I thought the UPS had sent out an erroneous signal until I flipped on the light switch to find I had lost electrical power to the house. There had been a major power outage in my neighborhood. In less than 24-hours after I put the UPS into operation it had protected my computer from a power outage. That was over a year ago. About a month ago there was another power outage and the UPS worked like a charm. Thank you for a system that works, and works well. You made a believer out of me.
