Rated 5 out of 5 byDoc from PerfectThis connector is made to take 2 1/8th inch stereo cords that are too short and connect them to make 1 cord that is long enough. It was stiff to insert the 1/8 inch males into it, but the connection was very secure. I used it to connect 2 3ft cords together so my 3rd passenger could hook up his ipod from the back seat and be our DJ!!
