The UNI2510U2V 2.5" HDD Enclosure offers versatile data storage, letting you turn a 2.5" SATA or IDE hard drive (HDD) or solid state drive (SSD) into an external hard drive connected through USB 2.0 - a cost-effective solution for a variety of uses including data backups, digital image storage, multimedia storage, or simply putting an "outdated" legacy hard drive (IDE) to good use. Large capacity drives (tested with up to 1TB) can be used to greatly enhance your computer's storage/backup capabilities.
The external hard drive enclosure features a tool-less design that eliminates the time (and tools) that would typically be required to install or replace a hard drive in an external enclosure. The USB-based enclosure also offers the "One Touch Backup" feature, which lets you automate backups that can be triggered at the touch of a button, instead of having to manually drag and drop folders and files from the host computer to the external HDD.
