The SU750XL on-line, double-conversion UPS protects critical server, networking or telecommunications equipment from blackouts, brownouts, voltage fluctuations and surges. Large-capacity 750VA/600W UPS continuously converts incoming AC to DC, then back to perfect sine wave AC output at 120V AC (+/-2%). Removes harmonic distortion, fast electrical impulses, frequency fluctuations and other hard-to-solve power problems not addressed by other UPS systems. True sine wave output and zero transfer time offer guaranteed compatibility with all equipment types. Includes 6 UPS supported outlets; 2 single-outlet load banks can be independently controlled via a software interface to selectively reboot remote equipment or shed less critical loads to extend battery runtime for the most critical equipment. Extended runtime available with optional BP24V15RT2U, BP24V28-2U, or BP24V70-3U external battery packs. Includes slot for network management card options. DB9 enhanced serial monitoring port for unattended shutdown, remote control and monitoring of UPS system and power data. Includes USB and DB9 serial ports. Built-in DB9 port offers both enhanced RS-232 enabled monitoring data, plus contact closure monitoring ability. HID-compliant USB interface enables integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows and Mac OS X. Rated 5 out of 5 byGadoche from Quiet, small, efficient!At our sawmill, we have a lot of peak on the voltage line. We are also scared of lightning flashes. Computer have random problems because of theses reasons. An UPS from Tripp-Litte like this one solve all of theses problems. Small, quiet, efficient, this what we need! Excellent products!

Rated 5 out of 5 byMartin from Very noisy fansThe unit works great, cheap for a Online/double-conversion unit, needed it to protect my SSD. But the fans are far too noisy. If I had known about it, I would have not gotten it. Ordered it over the net.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJPond from Fans are too noisyBought this over the net and when I fired it up was shocked at how noisy the fans are. Check the specs and they indicate that the fan noise is in the area of 45dB. I tested with my noise meter at the front of the UPS with the back pointed at the wall and I measure in the 54 - 59 dB range. Would be ok in a server room but not in an office or home environment.
